System requirements

  • Windows 7 or newer
  • Microsoft .Net Framework 4.8 or newer
  • MS-Office 2013 or newer
  • 100 MB free hard disk space
  • 4 GB RAM or more


In order to download the software and for updates, access to the following server must be permitted:

In order to use the IP7 patent database, access to the following servers must be permitted:

In order to use the web application, access to the following servers must be permitted:

For the transmission of occurring errors, access to the following address must be permitted:

Port 443 is being used.


Otherwise, the requirements of the software are very low.
By using special technologies, only required data is compressed and transmitted encrypted. Therefore the required bandwidth is also low.
